Dr. Gabler is the John F. Patience Professor in Swine Nutrition in the Department of Animal Science at Iowa State University. He obtained his Bachelor of Agricultural Science and Ph.D. from La Trobe University, Australia. His research program focuses on understanding and improving nutrition and feed efficiency, nutrition by health interactions, lean tissue accretion, and intestinal physiology of pigs. He also works with pig producers to find scientific-based solutions to production problems.
